Terms of use

Welcome to Fishprep’s site. We hope you like it, enjoy it and find it useful. We are open and transparent with how we treat users and their information, and we ask that you respect fellow users of Fishprep and treat them as you would your fellow fishermen on the bankside.

We have always cared deeply about data protection and privacy and we welcome the General Data Protection Regulation, which comes into force May 25 2018.

Below is the legal stuff, a bit like the rules of a fishery, and we have this to protect our users of the site and us here at Fishprep. Any questions let us know. Tight Lines!

ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

  1. INTRODUCTION
    1. This acceptable use policy sets out the terms between you and Prep Group AB (“We”, “Us”) under which you may access our website https://www.fishprep.com/ (“Our Site”), and it applies to all users of, and visitors to, Our Site (“Acceptable Use Policy”/”AUP”).
    2. Your use of Our Site means that you accept, and agree to abide by, all the policies in this Acceptable Use Policy, which supplement our Terms of Use, available here.
  2. PROHIBITED USES
    1. You may use Our Site only for lawful purposes.
    2. You may not use Our Site:
      1. In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
      2. In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
      3. For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way.
      4. To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our content standards, available at Section 4 below.
      5. To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).
      6. To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.
      7. To engage in harmful, harassing or otherwise objectionable activity, including activity inhibiting access to or use of Our Site by others.
      8. To infringe or try to infringe the privacy or other rights of other Our Site users. This includes you storing or trying to store personal data or usage details of other Our Site users.
      9. To infringe any applicable law (for instance copyright law) when accessing or using Our Site.
    3. You may not subject Our Site or the content on Our Site to any derogatory treatment or use them in such a way that would bring us into disrepute, or cause us to incur liability to any third party.
    4. You may not, and you may not assist anyone to or attempt to reverse engineer, de-compile, disassemble, adapt, modify, copy, reproduce, lend, hire, sub-license, create derivative works from, broadcast, distribute, commercially exploit or transmit in any other way Our Site or any content on Our Site in whole or in part except as permitted in this Acceptable Use Policy or our Terms of Use.
    5. You may not harass or cause distress or inconvenience to any other user or person using Our Site or transmit obscene or offensive content or disrupt the normal flow of dialogue within Our Site.
    6. You may not directly or indirectly charge others for accessing any content on Our Site or commercialise or attempt to re-sell such content in any way.
    7. You may not directly or indirectly suggest any endorsement or approval by Us of a product or service (for instance, a website) or any entity other than us, or product or content or any belief or opinion expressed within a product or service.
    8. You also agree:
      1. not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of our site in contravention of the provisions of our Terms of Use;
      2. not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt:
        1. any part of Our Site;
        2. any equipment or network on which Our Site is stored;
        3. any software used in the provision of Our Site; or
        4. any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party.
  3. INTERACTIVE SERVICES
    1. We may from time to time provide interactive services on Our Site, including, without limitation:
      1. chat rooms; and/or
      2. bulletin boards;
        (“Interactive Services”).
    2. Where we do provide any Interactive Service, our Terms of Use and this Acceptable Use Policy will apply to such Interactive Service, and we may also provide additional terms, conditions and information in relation to such Interactive Services.
    3. We are under no obligation to oversee, monitor or moderate any Interactive Service we provide on Our Site, and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of any Interactive Service by a user in contravention of our content standards, whether the service is moderated or not.
    4. The use of any of our Interactive Services by a minor is subject to the consent of their parent or guardian. We advise parents who permit their children to use an Interactive Service that it is important that they communicate with their children about their safety online, as moderation is not foolproof. Minors who are using any Interactive Service should be made aware of the potential risks to them.
    5. We may moderate an Interactive Service (human or technical) and where we do, we will normally provide you with a means of contacting the moderator, should a concern or difficulty arise.
  4. CONTENT STANDARDS
    1. These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to Our Site (“Contributions”), and to any interactive services associated with it.
    2. You must comply with the spirit and the letter of the following standards. The standards apply to each part of any Contribution as well as to its whole.
    3. Contributions must:

      2. be genuinely held (where they state opinions);
      3. comply with all laws and other regulations in the applicable country from which they are posted;

      12. bring us into disrepute or give the impression that they emanate from us, if this is not the case;
      13. advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse;
      14. promote, encourage or facilitate terrorism or other activities that risk national security;
