There are 5 lakes in the complex, however 2 are still under construction but should be completed soon.

Parking and comfort are paramount to the fishery, and most pegs you can park right behind them if not it is just a short walk.

There is a very good selection of fish in both species and sizes, from specimen tench 7lb+ right down to the old boy favourite, gudgeon.

Carp do dominate in the summer months, however there are so many other fish in the lakes its quite easy to target certain species.

We pride ourselves in striving to achieve a place where you can enjoy a GOOD days fishing, but will not be drawn into the

(stuff it to the hilt) attitude that not only is bad for the fish but quite boring fishing.

A pleasant place to fish with a good atmosphere and easy access to most of the pegs, making this place ideal for the disabled angler too.

TICKET PRICES:

Day Tickets are £6 1st April to 31st October

THE LAKES:

Canal Lake

26 well spaced pegs, providing safe comfortable fishing on concrete pegs.  There is parking behind all pegs and no more than 5 metres from the car to the water. There are many different species of fish in here, Carp, Bream, Tench, Chub, Barbel, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Gudgeon, and the larger of the carp go well into double figures.  The F1’s are in abundance and these are great sport during the summer but also the winter too.

Doughnut Pond

10 pegs, this is a great place for getting out of the weather and is a great sun trap in the summer months.  Lots of smaller carp with a few surprises.  Heavily stocked with silvers so ideal for plenty of bites.  Access is from the car park so just a short walk, but there is a short ramp to access the lake.  A very tranquil spot so ideal to bring wifey for a spot of sunbathing while you are enjoying your fishing.

Horseshoe Lake

31 pegs, this lake is stuffed with good sized carp up to 20lb but also has a very good selection of smaller carp too.  There are so many silvers in here good nets of roach and skimmers are commonplace in some of the matches and many people choose to target these.

Access is via the outer of the lake, tackle can be dropped behind some pegs (cars then returned to the car park) but there is a short walk on some pegs and steps too.

This is a great lake to catch some serious weights of big carp and the margins can be an excellent place to fish, late afternoon is a good time to fish in the warmer months.
