Fly fishing for brown trout and grayling along a 4.5 mile stretch of River Wharfe.

The River Wharfe flows through the Estate of Bolton Abbey, and is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the Yorkshire Dales. Against this beautiful backdrop the 4 ½ mile stretch of water offers extensive opportunities for both the novice and experienced angler. The keepered fishery provides fishing for wild and stocked Brown Trout and Grayling throughout its waters.

Our River Keeper, who has a wealth of knowledge of the river, is a member of the Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors and is highly qualified to teach beginners and experienced anglers the skills to get the most out of a day’s fishing at Bolton Abbey.
