The racecourse lake is run by Ripon Piscatorial Association. It has a very good head of fish. With carp, bream, tench, chub, roach, perch and pike being the main species. Some of the carp are in the 30 lb plus weight bracket. Bream have being caught up to 10 lb and tench to 8 lb.
A limited number of night permits are available to fish the racecourse lake, but fishing is not allowed on race days.

PRICES: 2016 Carp anglers are reminded that due to the limited numbers, members should apply for their permits as soon as possible after the 1st April. NOTE: All annual memberships run from the 1st April to 31st March.
