Newbridge Lake is one of the Premier Carp Lakes in the North of England,at nearly 7 acres in size and 8 acres of woodland with another Two one acre ponds all set in beautiful Surroundings. It offers some of the best Carp and Coarse Fishing in Yorkshire.

Newbridge Lake contains specimen size fish of :-

  • Mirror carp 28lb+
  • Common carp 34lb+
  • Grass carp 19lb+
  • Ghost carp 32lb+
  • Crucian carp to 3lb
  • Bream up to 14lb
  • Roach to 3lb
  • Rudd to 2.5lb
  • Perch to 3.5lb
  • Tench to 10lb
  • Eels to 7lb
  • chub to 4lb

 

Harriff Pond contains:

 

  • Common, Mirror, and F1 carp up to 14lb+
  • Tench to 3lb
  • Roach to 3lb
  • Chub to 2lb
  • Bream to 3lb
  • Ide to 3lb
  • Perch to 2lb
  • Rudd to 1lb

Skeckling Pond contains: 

 

  • Common,Mirror, and Ghost Carp up to 25lb+
  • Tench to 4lb
  • Roach to 3lb
  • Chub to 4lb
  • Bream to 4lb
  • Ide to 3lb
  • Perch to 4lb 
  • Rudd to 1lb

There is secure night fishing for just £15 per 24 hours

Prices
Day Fishing          £6 for one rod and £2 for each extra rod

 Concessions       £5 for one rod and £2 for each extra rod

Night Fishing (24hrs)       £18 for up to three rods (Pegs need to be booked in advance)

Pegs can be booked from the first of the month for the following month i.e. booked in April for May. If you wish to book further ahead than this we require payment in advance. Via cheque ,cash or Paypal (details below.) For any payment in advance there is a discounted rate of £16 for up to 3 rods

Pegs are available from 10am and you must vacate your pegs by 10am on the day of departure

 

 

Rules

  • Newbridge Lakes – Specimen Lake

    Please note the following rules are in operation to protect the fish we all enjoy the benefit of, so please respect them:-

    • Barbless Hooks only
    • No rod to be left unattended at any time
    • No Carp or fish over 4lb to be kept in keepnets and no fish to be held for more than 5 hours
    • All anglers must hold a current fishing licence
    • All keepnets must comply with current Environmental Agency bylaws and regulations
    • No Nuts
    • No Radios
    • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
    • Fishing from 7.00am(Summer) 7.30am(Winter) to time on notice board only
    • It is an offence to remove or introduce fish to the fishery
    • The complex may be dangerous, persons using the fishery do so at their own risk, the management can not accept any risk of injury to yourself or any other parties
    • The management does not accept responsibility for personal injury, damage or loss of property whilst using the fishery
    • No fishing anywhere other than marked pegs
    • No night fishing without prior permission
    • All dogs to be kept on lead
    • No Fires
    • No children under 16 can night fish unless accompanied by an adult unless previously agreed
