Selley Bridge Lake located in the peace and tranquility of the Ryedale Countryside, is a Well stocked coarse fishing lake and can be fished on day ticket all year round (7 a.m. till dusk)

The site has easy access and ample parking.

Fish species include Bream, Mirror Carp, Crucian Carp, Common Carp, Chub, Perch, Roach, Rudd and Tench.

Lake History

The lake was excavated over a two year period between 1994 and 1996.

Tree’s were planted around the lake banks to complete the landscaping of the site.

The lake is designed in the shape of a clover leaf and covers an area of 3.5 acres.

Fishing Prices

Day Ticket – £5.00

Extra Rod – £2.00

Concessions – £4.00 (under16s, OAPs & Disabled)

Evening Fishing – £3.00 (4pm till dusk)

    Fishery Rules

    • No fish to be taken. (we will prosecute for theft)
    • Barbless hooks only.
    • No night fishing.
    • All nets to be dipped.
    •  Fish over 3lb to be weighed and returned.
    • No dogs.
    • No fires.
    • No litter.
    • Ground bait in moderation please.
    • Children under 16 years must be accompanied By an adult.

    The breaking of any of the above Rules will result in a permanent ban.

  3. Great water to fish. Plenty of Tench and Rudd especially. Meat, Pellets or prawn work well for the bigger fish
