Mertoun Lower Beat is situated between St. Boswells and Kelso in the beautiful Scottish Borders.
Fishing is available for let for two rods on a weekly basis, but during some periods lets maybe available for three days, prices are from £80 plus VAT per day.
Access can be made by car along a farm track to the fishing hut which is available for use.It is advisable to have a four wheel drive vehicle.
Self catering accommodation is available.
The beat has three pools/streams and fishing is from the left bank only.
There is one boat available from February to April and September to November.
Prices range from £40 to £260 per rod/day + VAT
